Welcome Charity Shops

There are two Welcome charity shops in East Birmingham – one in Shard End and one in Lea Village.

We are delighted to say that our larger shop in Lea Village has reopened following lock down and is offering its usual wide range of ladieswear, menswear, children’s clothes, toys and games, furniture, electrical goods, household items, bric a brac, bedding, books, CDs, DVDs and vinyl.  Do come and support us.  You are assured of a warm welcome.

Due to ongoing restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic, our smaller shop remains closed to the public and we are using the space to quarantine donations.

Please keep your donations coming!

WE ARE TAKING DONATIONS ON MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS UP TO 3PM.

In order to protect our staff, we are taking donations on Mondays and Thursdays only at present, to allow us to take items off site and quarantine them before sorting.

We will take anything and everything, including electrical goods, as our staff are qualified to carry out PAT testing.

So, if you have…

Welcome Charity Shop, 289b, Kitts Green Road, Lea Village, Birmingham B33 9SA between 9.00am and 3.00pm on Mondays and Thursdays.

If you have large items to donate we offer a collections service.

If you are on a low income and looking for furniture, you can make an appointment to come and see what we’ve got.

House Clearances, Furniture Restoration and Home Removal Services

If you need to clear a whole house, you have an piece of furniture in need of fixing, repainting or varnishing to give it a  new lease of life, or you have a few items to move to a new home, we can help!
