Get Involved
Jump In and Get Involved!

Positive change in communities comes when people not only care, but also take action. At Welcome Change we are passionate about strengthening the communities in East Birmingham in which we work. And we want to encourage local residents, businesses and other community organisations to get involved and make a difference alongside us.
Way's to Get Involved!
Participate in Activities
Joining in local activities is a simple way to reduce isolation or boredom, make new friends, build skills and confidence, connect with the community, and feel part of something positive.
At Welcome Change, we run a wide range of activities, some of which are free to attend and some of which include a small membership or entrance fee. There is no need to book, simply turn up at least five minutes before the start time.
Volunteer with Us
Volunteers are really important to Welcome Change. Working alongside our small staff team, they enable us to deliver more than we could on our own. Our volunteers receive training and support to ensure they feel confident to help us run our activities and welcome people into our venues. Volunteering is a great way to find purpose and enjoy yourself, while making a positive impact in your local area.
Partner with Us
Partnership working is key to our approach to supporting our local communities. Whether you would like to deliver a service from one of our venues, or work on a joint project, we’d love to hear from you. We believe that together we are stronger! We can ensure that resources are used for maximum impact, share knowledge and expertise, and avoid duplication of services.
