Our Community Garden is a quiet, peaceful space in the heart of Tile Cross, designed to nurture connection with nature, wellbeing and recovery.

As a 'recovery-focused'. therapeutic garden, we offer sessions for people who are on their journey towards improved physical and mental health, providing a calm, supportive environment to engage with nature, learn new skills, and meet others in the community

We are keen to share our knowledge of how to care for the natural environment, grow food and support wildlife. Whether you’re planting, harvesting, or simply enjoying the outdoors, our garden is a place to relax, reflect, and grow - both your plants and yourself.

We work with children and adults.

Working Progress

Like the plants we have blooming, our community garden is constantly growing and evolving. It's thanks to a hardworking team of volunteers, staff members and generous donations from our partners and visitors that we are able to keep this hidden suburban garden thriving.

Activities

Our Community Garden is a fantastic place to learn about nature and the abundance of plants, flowers, fruit and vegetables we can grow with the help of the English rain! The garden is available for school groups to visit, local gardening groups, or even arts and craft groups. We plan to add more events to our calendar this year, have a look at the video below to see what Soil to Boil created in our garden.

For the Community, by the Community

You only need to walk through the garden to see the emotional links tied in with the community. Unique handmade decorations created here in activity sessions, an outside wood fired oven for cooking up meals from the vegetables right grown here and memorials of people close to the hearts of the community.

Our Community Garden provides a supportive, therapeutic space where people can grow, connect, and thrive.  We support adults and children, focusing on those with learning disabilities, experiencing mental health issues, exclusion or isolation, recovering from addiction or managing other health conditions.
